7 & 8 Months-Where Did It Go??

Quinn is already 8 months old!  Did anyone else realize that March is almost over?! At 7 months she was just starting to stay up on her knees...only if we put her there though.  She was babbling a ton and loved to pull up on us.  Quinn also got to meet some new friends in February.  We made the trip down to Lexington, SC to visit the Curtis and Smeltzer families.  Of course our social butterfly was totally in love with both Sadie and Caroline as you can see below.

At 8 months she is now getting onto her knees on her own.  We can tell that she REALLY wants to crawl...it's just a matter of when she will decide it's worth it!  We are also well aware that this will be the beginning of the end! She has already started scooting across the floor and trying to pull up on everything from us to the ottoman.  Trouble is on the way!

Jackson and Quinn have truly become best friends.  They have to greet/lick each other as soon as we get home and he is always at her side if she is crying.  She's also finally getting the hang of some signs...she uses the puppy sign to call for Jackson and is a pro at saying "more" and "yay" by clapping her hands together.  She loves to wave to everyone that will pay attention too!  Most recently she has gained quite the attitude.  The word "no" is not one that she is a fan of and she will SCREAM at us when we use it or take things away from her. (How is it that a baby can ALWAYS find the one thing that he/she is not supposed to have?!)  Of course Mike says that this is a trait she gets from her Mom.

We are really excited for The Great One, Nonnie, and  Uncle Colin to visit this week! Happy Easter everyone!
