Rub-a-dub-dub

Daddy's little girl
Today The Great One (my dad) returned to Virginia Beach with my mom.  Christin's mom is staying with us for the week and then mine will come back for the Grandma change-over.   We also gave Quinn her first bath at home.  Christin missed her real first bath because she was in recovery after her c-section.  There was a lot of mission planning that went on before the big event but we didn't even fight (VICTORY!).  We still can't totally submerge Quinn yet because her cord hasn't fallen off and as you can tell from the pictures she was less than thrilled with the sponge bath.  Overall the bath was a success: we didn't drop the baby, she didn't pee/poop on us, and we didn't drop the baby.  I was a little worried about that one.  Jackson even tried to lick her clean afterwards.  We are impressed with how well he is adjusting to not being an only child.  We tell him he that he is still the number one puppy and that has seemed to work so far.  Enjoy the pictures I have censored them so that they are safe for work.

Less than impressed with the whole bath thing but still a lady

Why are you doing this to me Dad?

Almost done

Thank God that is finally over

Jackson thinks that we might have missed a spot

  5. Congratulations Christin and Mike! Quinn is beautiful! Caroline and Annabel have lots of questions - why is she crying? what is on her bellybutton? Is she crying because something is on her belly button? Annabel would also like to see a video. We can't wait to meet her - hopefully next summer if not before, but in the meantime, we look forward to watching her grow up here. Love, Karen and Scott
